Madhuri Dixit
Madhuri was an Indian actress, who gained fame for her role in the films Hum Aapke Haiin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. She was first known for her role in Tezaab from the 1980s and Tezaab, which she co-starred along with veteran actor Anil Koopor. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she was on screen with Aamir. In her early years, the Mumbai-born dancer began studying at a very early age. As a teen, she tried her hand at acting, but the majority of those early films did not succeed. She eventually found success and became one of the most prominent actors on the Indian film business. The actress took a hiatus from her career after her wedding before returning to the industry of entertainment. She played a major role in Gulaab Gang, a film that explores the struggles of women in India. Dixit has been nominated for fifteen Filmfare Awards, out of which she was awarded eight. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian prize awarded to civilians in India was awarded to her. The award was also given to her for her efforts in the social sector.
